How to multialign numeric data

Hello,

I would like to preform multi-alignment of numeric vectors, similar to multialign function of sequences. However, this function works only with nucleotides or amino acids strings and I would like it to do the same for numeric vectors. For example:

input:

a = [ 1 7 3 4];

b = [ 1 7 5 ] ;

c = [ 7 3 4 8];

output:

1 7 3 4 - -

1 7 - - 5 -

- 7 3 4 - 8

I have more than 20 numbers, so converting to AA is not an option.
