Will the ASIX AX88772A USB to Ethernet adapter work with xPC target or is this different than the ASIX AX88772??
Thank you

Often an "A" suffix on a part indicates a design fix or a firmware fix or a chip remaster (e.g., narrower tracks.) It is not _often_ that an "A" suffix indicates an incompatible part -- *usually* an "A" part is a drop-in replacement.
But that's a generality.

On checking, I see they are different devices that announce themselves with different product IDs. The two devices are also packaged differently (the non-A is 128 pin, the -A is 64 pin). The non-A supports USB 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, but the -A supports USB 1.1, 2.0. You should be able to feed a single 3.3V supply for both.
