Nested Tables and UI Tables. Using GUIDE UI figure.

Hi, I want to have an interactive figure with a ui table in it. However, I want to display the table such that:

• Outer table is a 1x2 table
• Inside cell (1,1) there is a table that is 4x2 and;
• Inside cell (1,2) there is another table that is 4x2

Given that to insert data into a uitable the input needs to be a cell, how do I do this?

Yes, but that doesn't give me two nested tables in one outer table retaining column and row names.

True, but it does explicitly say you cannot do that with uitable.

There is a possibility that you might be able to implement it using the java objects that underly uitable. See http://undocumentedmatlab.com
