User associated with a license

Good day,

We have a new member on our team and we would like him to administrate a license, which was already installed in his computer. However, we have not been able to find the e-mail that is associated with that license. Is there anyway to know this? We have the license number, and when we try to associate it with my account, for example, an error shows up. It says the license is already associated with some user, though we don't who might be that user. We have tried several accounts from former employees but they all appear as if they have no licenses under management.
