Can not find 'Code Generation' pane in 'Configuration Parameters' dialog box, MATLAB R2018a

Hello,

As part of a project I have to look into generated c-code of Simulink models. I have downloaded a student version. And the command, license('test', 'RTW_Embedded_Coder') and license('checkout', 'real-time_workshop') returns me a ' 1' and the command 'ver' shows MATLAB Coder as one of the installed packages. I am not sure why I can not see the 'Code Generation' pane in the 'Parameters Configuration' dialogue.

There are a couple of potential issues here. First of all, you mention the Student Version. The Student Version does not have the products you need in the first place. So probably, you mean a license provided by your university which can used by staff as well as students.

In this case, you need to verify if the prodcuts you need are installed and licensed. Typically, you main university IT would help you with that, but you could also contact MathWorks installation support.

So beside the "license" command results, you also need the "ver -support" command to successfully get help.
