Can Iterative Feedback Tuning used to dynamically tune the PID controller or should I fix my values obtained at the final iteration?I am trying to design a controller for throttle control of a vehicle. Can gain scheduling be a better option?

Depends on your model. Can you send your Simulink model as mdl file?

I have not derived an approximate model of the throttle yet(it is a bit complex system) and this was the primary reason why I thought of using IFT as I found that it was a model free tuning method (please feel free to correct me if I am wrong). Can I proceed with IFT even if I do not have a proper idea about my throttle model?
