Hello,
I'm trying to model a "sticky" connection between 2 bodies. For that I'm looking for a methode to connect the to bodies on contact if the measured contact force doesn't exceed a certain limit. The condition part is fairly easy but I can't find a good way to make them connect and stay that way. The easiest way would be to use a weld joint but it is permanently activated. I tried using enabled subsystems with if conditions to sever the physical connection but that doesn't work.
Does anyone have an idea or an other way to tackle the problem? Thank a lot! Regards, Gerrit

Hello,
I am facing a similar problem. I am trying to model two robotic arms that pass an object around without having to model the individual gripper mechanics. I would just like to use two weld joints that activate/deactivate if some conditions are met.
Is there any update on your question? Were you able to find a way to make it work?
Thanks in advance!
