Hi Tiziana,

Based on the crash report, I believe that this is due to a bug in MATLAB R2018a while running on certain Linux machines. This bug has been fixed in MATLAB R2018a Update 4 .

However, if you don't want to install the update, you could launch MATLAB using the -softwareopengl option.
