specify sample rate of a signal to calculate time lag with cross correlation

Hello all,
i have a timeserie, so time signal on x axis and another signal on y axis but i need to find "sample rate" for "Delay Between Two Correlated Signals". How can i specify sample rate of signal? Can anyone help me?
