torque reference modeling of Permanent Magnet synchronous machine using simscape driveline (simscape electrical and simpower system )

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to do a simple modeling of a Permanent Magnet synchronous machine(In Simulink 2013b) taking torque as a reference. Precisely, I want to give required torque as input (apart from 3 phase voltage) to PMSM model and want to get simulated torque as output. (For example, I give a torque demand of 150 Nm and I should get it at the output of the PMSM as per the standard torque-speed characteristics). Is it possible to use PMSM block from SimPowersystem for this purpose? Or if there are any efficient ways to do this, Please let me know.
I thank you all for the time and understanding in advance. Onkar

Hello Onkar,
you can use multiple control techniques to get that PMSM model to output the desired torque you want, but it will require simulating the closed loop control. Here is an example of a PMSM tracking desired torque: https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/sps/examples/ac6-100-kw-interior-permanent-magnet-synchronous-motor-drive.html
Regards,
Joel
