How can I import a variable from Work space to a GUIDE interface

Basically I have used the GUIDE tolboox to program a interface which allow me create a vector which represent a particular signal . (Power Quality phenomena) Now, I want to create a second GUIDE program to analyze that signal. My problem is that I don't know how can I import a variable from the workspace to my GUIDE. If I could take it from workspace and I could storage it in a structre I could use it as I like.
