Using my neighborhood function with SOMs toolbox?

Hello all!

I am working on a project with self-organizing maps algorithm which I am implementing through MATLABs toolbox. By default there are four neighborhood functions. Is there any way to replace those and use my own?

From my experience it does not seem to allow customisation with your own functions. I was also looking for a way to use custom plot functions but from what I can see you can only choose things from the specified options.
