Webmap function does not load map images, (just pink squares)

I'm trying to use the webmap function but the map doesn't seem to load I just see pink squares. I don't get any form of error message.

Strangely I am able to load maps in Simulation Data Inspector.

How are you currently calling the function? Just 'webmap'? What version of the mapping toolbox do you have installed?

I tried both webmap & webmap('Open Street Map')

Mapping Toolbox version 4.7 (R2018b)

I am also getting the same issue with the same toolbox and matlab version.
