Simulink in 2018a: Synchronization to real-time kernel has failed.

I'm trying to use the thingspeakinput block in simulink, my model is fairly simple. I only have that ThingSpeak block connected to a scope.

I want to simulate around 1200 seconds, but can't get past 3 minutes or 4 before getting this error message:

This is what I tried:

1) Using Balanced Settings for Energy Options. Default settings.

2) Using the other option for Energy Saving. Default settings.

None of them have worked.

Do you guys know a way to make this work? Thanks for your time and help on this.
