Simulink: plotting outcome of Matlab Function box to a scope.

I have a matlab function called from within a Simulink Block. The outcome of this is a scalar (a 1x1 array in terms of Matlab). I'd like to plot such outcome against the simulation time in Simulink each 5 minutes (300 seconds).

Something like this:

• Execute Matlab Function Block
• Plot the outcome of such function in a scope.
• Keep that oucome as a constant value until the next call to the function block is performed (every 5 minutes).
• Execute Matlab Function Block and send the new value to a scope, to visualize the changes this function has experienced throughout the simulation time.

Are there models around that serve as examples for this setup? I'd love to know.
