Linear convolution or Circular convolution which to use?

Hi,

I am finding output of filter bank . The inputs given are audio samples and filter coeffients .

So filter output is convolution of audio signals and filter coefficients.

Which function should I use? Linear convolution or Circular convolution.

How the fft implemented in matlab using linear/ circular convolution?
