The editor for Matlab Answers apparently no longer allows pasting text from another source. I commonly will write notes to myself, and then use that content to submit to this forum. Why shut down this functionality???
Mark
Followup: I found that this limitation occurs when using the latest Firefox browser in Mac OS. It is not a problem with the Google Chrome browser.

Pasting stop working with Firefox with Firefox 54 or 55. The exact release of failure appears to depend upon operating system .
On Mac it is still possible to paste using command V with Safari .
Mathworks is testing a bug fix for use with Firefox

You can paste. We do it all the time. However, you have to use keyboard shortcuts:
  • Copy: ctrl+c
  • Cut: ctrl+x
  • Paste: ctrl+v
On a Mac, replace ctrl with command.
What appears in the rt-click menu in a browser is context driven by the browser and not a choice made by MathWorks.

OK Thanks. I don't know if you have access to any internal Mathworks wishlist, but would be nice to be able to copy and paste screen shots. Particularly for questions involving GUI's and Simulink
