SPI communication with Total Phase Aardvark

Hello all,

I have a Total Phase Aardvark that I am trying to create a SPI object out of. My issue is that MATLAB is returning an error when I try to create the SPI object. Below is the code I have been using.

The above code varifies that the Aardvark is connected to my PC with a USB cable.

My issue is that when I try and create the SPI object I get the following error.

Below is the a snippet of the "spi" script(Built-in MATLAB script)

I am running MATLAB (R2018b) on Windows 10 pro. have "Instrument control Toolbox" as well as the Support Package for "Total Phase Aardvark I2C/SPI Interface".

I have tried un-installing and re-installing the driver for the Aardvark, but the same issue is still present.

Does anyone have any idea of why the error is occuring, and how to fix it?

I fixed the problem by updating my current version of matlab.
