Plotting Points in 3D

Hi,
I would like to make a plot of points in 3 dimensions. I have each points X,Y,Z position and I also need to color them based on a fourth numerical variable.
How can I do this?

from the documentation:
scatter3(X,Y,Z,S,C)
scatter3(X,Y,Z,S,C) displays colored circles at the locations specified by the vectors X, Y, and Z (which must all be the same size).
