Getting error with matrix operation

Hi guys, i know this may be a fool question but anyway, i'm getting an error when i try to divide 2 matrix.
A= [1.5; -1]
B=[1 2; 3 4]
C=A./B
It says: Error using ./
Could anyone help me?
