Matlab code required for plotting 3 variables

I need matlab function/code for plotting 3 variables ... plot like in figure, becasue plot3 or scatter3 is not working for me to plot graph like this. if somebody or anybody ahve please share

Matlab version before 2016a use the following

Use plotyy
