How can i define my boundary condition with respect to initial condition=?

I have this problem and i will solve it with finite difference scheme but i need to define boundary condition but i dont know how to define them. Can anyone help?

Since you are told to solve the equation until the initial wave goes out of the domain I'd start with du/dn = 0 on all boundaries where n is the outer normal.
