simulink using function workspace

I'm using sim() in a matlab function to call a simulink model that include s-function. (Matlab R2017b)

Inorder to use the function workspace in the simulink modle I used:

myoptions = simset('SrcWorkspace','current',...

'DstWorkspace','current',...

'ReturnWorkspaceOutputs', 'on');

simOut = sim(mdlName, endTime, myoptions);

But the simulink model keep having issue with using the function workspace and asking for base workspace to fix the issue.

Could you please help fix the issue?
