Hi,
I have 5800 TRMM 3hourlyTRMM_L3/TRMM_3B42.7 nc4 files......Thing is that, My only variable is Precipitaiton and every nc4 file is representing 3hourly precipitaiton value but nc4 file attribute don't contain time or date which I check in ArcGIS .How can I extract 3 hourly time-series of my study area chronologically for perticular latitude and longitude (precipitaiton gages) and prepare a entire 3 hourly timeseries which I need to compare with gauge precipitaiton later. I need to export them in CSV format.
Honestly to say I am new user of Matlab. Thanks in advance.

The NASA TRMM_3B42 file format is described at https://storm.pps.eosdis.nasa.gov/storm/data/docs/filespec.TRMM.V7.3B42.pdf . However it sounds like you are using a netcdf version of those. Perhaps the page is https://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/datasets/TRMM_3B42_7/summary and in particular more information at https://pps.gsfc.nasa.gov/Documents/filespec.TRMM.V7.pdf
However... it is all pretty nebulous without a sample file, and it appears registration is required to obtain a file.
