How to model a transport system?

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to create a model of a transport system (specifically a metro station line); looking at commuter and train flow between two stations to understand peak congestion at certain times.

I have actual transport data based on open-source API data, however am unsure how to proceed next in creation of the system itself and modelling the data inputs using stateflow/simevent?

Any suggestions would much appreciated!
