how to display value in edit box matlab gui taken from workspace?

while calculting my final output in gui i want to display one value that i get in workspace into edit box after clicking push button, How should i do??

i tried using https://in.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/18341-display-a-value-in-edit-text-in-gui but i could not find way to display number that i got in workspace.

please give me solution.

Which workspace is your variable in? Is the value calculated in a callback?
