Function for filtering continuous time data

[c,d] = invfreqs(m,freq,5,5); Using invfreqs I am able to get the numerator and denominator coefficients from the frequency and phase response of an amplifier. How do I use these coefficietnts to filter out continuous time input data? Can "filter" be used for continuous domain data as well?.Please help

I don't think here your computed [c,d] would be the coeff.s to use with filter() function. They are the coeff.s of the frequency response function's numerator and denominator. In fact, invfreqs() is the one of the useful functions for system parameter identification/estimation while doing the frequency data analysis.

Okay. Which other function can be used for the same?

You need to filtrer time domain data or use your obtained filter coeff's [c, d]?

Filter the time domain data using the filter coefficients [c,d].
