I download the iso file of matlab

now I want to install on my Ubuntu 18.04 linux

I started to mount the dvd1 and open the terminal in that directory

typed ./install command

it started to install and shows this error message

how can i overcome this problem and install matlab in my system

instead of typing ./install type the whole path from your home folder

cd to your home directory.

Then at the Linux command shell, give a command similar to

sudo sh /media/R2023a_installer/bin/install

except listing the path to the actual "install" script.

This would be instead of

cd /media/R2023a_installer/bin; sudo ./install
