Programmatically configuring mex to use setup

Hi,

how can I programmatically ask mex to use a certain compiler such as 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Professional (C++)' or 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Professional (C++)'?

I can run 'mex -setup' and select a compiler manually by clicking the links but this is

a. manual

b. the links are dependent on user name, matlab install dir etc.

I need a method which could work on other users and other install dirs and can be called from a matlab script.
