The regression coefficient in plsregress is for normal variable or mean centered variable?

I am using plsregress in matlab. Since matlab uses SIMPLS method to calculate the PLS model and it automatically mean centeres the data. So the out put of this function, regression coefficient is for the mean centred variables or the normal variables?
