Is there an embedded MATLAB function to apply a laplacian filter on the image ?? and how to use it ??

I just want to apply simple laplacian filter with 3x3 kernel such as (-1,-1,-1,-1,8,-1,-1,-1,-1). is there an embeded function to do this in MATLAB?
