parpool を実行すると時間がかかるのはなぜですか？

parpool コマンド(R2013b 以前の場合、matlabpool )を実行すると、並列ワーカーが起動するまで、2,3 分かかります。
parpool('local', 3)
R2013b 以前の場合
matlabpool local open 3

原因として、ライセンスの取得に問題がある可能性があります。
まずは、下記の URL の内容を参考に、ライセンスに起因する起動時の問題がないか、ご確認ください。
・MATLAB が "Busy" や "Initializing" (初期化中) の状態で固まってしまったり、起動に時間がかかってしまうのはなぜですか?
