augmenting matrix in MATLAB

Please I am trying to estimate a parameter and I want to augment the orginal state matrix(36001X8) with the parameter by adding two more columns of the parameter(to make it 3600X10) so that I can plot my original and estimates on same graph, how do I go about it?

if the additional parameters are already column vectors (p1 and p2), you should only have to add them onto your orginal matrix.

M(:,9)=p1;
M(:,10)=p2;
