How to modify Cone Clutch in SimScape Driveline?

Hello everyone,
I need to model a synchronizer for manual transmissions for my Master's thesis. I don't want to use the synchronizer block, because I need to measure the displacement of the sleeve and the force acting on it with respect to time. Therefore, I would like to copy the model, which builds the double-sided synchronizer, as stated in the Matlab Documentation. The model implements two Dog Clutch blocks, one Translational Detent, and two modified Cone Clutch blocks.
The modified Cone Clutch blocks have a mechanical rotational port (designated with S) and a physical signal output reporting the shift linkage position (X), while the default Cone Clutch block has a physical signal port N.
Does anybody knows how to add a mechanical rotational port on this block? I would be very thankful for your feedbacks.

I'm really intererested in this as well, did you finally found a solution?

Hi
Modifying a block parameter makes you achieve this. Under the block parameters of cone clutch, change the parameter from Physical signal to Conserving port.
Geometry -> Shift linkage control -> Conserving port.
This helps you modify the cone clutch to have both X and S ports as in the design of double-sided synchronizer.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I could not find that option under the block parameters. I am using Matlab 2018a for academic use.

That is what I see under the block parameters on the "Geometry" tab.
