Protecting Intelectual Property in Simulink

Hi! I am trying to protect a system in Simulink and I have see that I have to reference it to be able to protect it afterwards. Also, I saw that first of all i have to make the subsystem atomic and after that convert it to a reference model. The problem is that i get the following error when i try to reference the model.
Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000107 EndHTML:0000002095 StartFragment:0000000127 EndFragment:0000002077
- Error due to multiple causes.
- Goto/From connections cannot cross nonvirtual subsystem boundaries. The only exception is when a goto is connected to a state output port
- Invalid connection starts with 'XXXX/powergui/EquivalentModel1/Yout/Goto12'
- Invalid connection ends with 'XXXX/Current Measurement/source'
If I look in the Goto/From block i see that the Goto one is inside the powergui block whereas the from one is in the Current Measurement block. I guess that the problem is due to the powergui block used to control the system. Does anyone know how can I reference a subsystem commanded by a powergui block?
Thanks for all

Hi Jose,
Hope your issue has been resolved.
I am trying the same thing of protecting intellectual property in simulink. I am able to convert my subsytem to reference model but error comes from code which I have referred from examples given in mathworks.
Can you help me with this code? I couldnt get what is Simulink.parameter from first line.
Kp = Simulink.parameter;
Kp.RTWInfo.StorageClass = 'SimulinkGlobal';
Kp.Value = 2
open_system(mdlref)
set_param(bdroot,'ModelRefNumInstanceAllwed')
save_system(mdlref)
[harnesshandle,neededVars]=Simulink.ModelReference.Protect(mdlref)
Thanks in advance!
