Serial communication problem between Digilent max 32 and matlab

Hi,

I am facing problem in reading text data from my digilent max 32 chipkit.

I have tried readline command but matlab says that it do not recognize this command.

I have tried fscanf and it give strange results

Can you please help me in this case any way ?
