Hi, I am trying to detect moving objects to obatin their corresponding X and Y coordinates from a video. I was using 'opticFlow' algorithm for this process. I am unable to understand on how to extract the X and Y coordinates from the velocity field which the function 'estimateFlow' returns. Any help to solve this will be appreaciated.
flow = estimateFlow(opticFlow,frameGray);

Did you get anywhere with this? In order to obtain the position, you'll probably want to integrate. The challenge is knowing how far away something is, and your current speed. If you're moving slow, even a close object will appear to move fast. This is a challenge I am trying to overcome as well.

Check out the Object Tracking section of this page for function that may be helpful.
