Standalone app output to windows cmd?

When you run app from App Designer, certain uncommented lines in 'code view'( values of variables etc..) appear in MATLAB command window.

Is anything like that possible when a standalone app is compiled and run?

Call the app from the Windows Command line rather than from double-clicking the icon.

Thanks for the answer.

However, my app won't run if started from command line. That could be problem from my side, but it works if started normally by double clicking.
