How can I color something in an image with a specific color?

I have the following image, and segment all the fringes (the black vertical lines) to select them for coloring them letter, but i don't know how to give them an orange color.

Thank you very much, but the three values of the three channels, did you get them from any color box (the RGB values of the orange colour)?
