Some question about fmincon

I have 2 questions about using fmincon:
Q1: I use the "fmincon" to optimize the function, and when it's finish. There are some msg in
command window shows
Active inequalities (to within options.TolCon = 1e-006): lower upper ineqlin ineqnonlin 5 6 7 9 10 11
Did anyone knows what is this msg standing for?
Q2: I want the optimal solution variable that must be integer, is that possible when I use fmincon?

The message is telling you how well the constraints were satisfied at the solution found by FMINCON.

No, it's not possible using FMINCON, but apparently the GA function in the Global Optimization Toolbox can handle mixed integer problems, so maybe it can handle integer problems as well
There's also BINTPROG in case that's applicable to you.
