How to 'append' contents to an existing file using Report or DOM API?

Hi, I'm trying to use the Report API to output figures and tables in my app, and it works fine until I realized that --

I have batches of raw data to process, and have to output the results multiple times during one use.

Now the function can generate seperate reports, which need to be merged into one.

So I'm wondering if there is a way to append stuff into the existing docx/pdf, something like the permission in fopen, instead of rewriting the file?

Use 'if...end' to create the report only once while adding stuff multiple times. And create another button to close and rptview the report.
