Hello,
I am a student from Heidelberg University. For my master thesis I would need the Matlab Version R2015a or older.
I could not find this version in the student download version (Free version).
Thank you for your help.
Kind regards,
Max Bickelhaupt

As stated in the comments, there is no free version available for MATLAB. You can install the trial version for MATLAB however, only the latest version can be downloaded for trial and hence you won't be able to access MATLAB R2015a.
If your university has the license for MATLAB, you can download MATLAB R2015a by following these steps:
- Log in to your MathWorks account using your university email
- Navigate to the "My Account" section of your profile
- Click the download option for the MATLAB license listed under the "My Software" section (This will be available only if you have the student license for MATLAB provided by your university)
- You will be redirected to the downloads page (https://www.mathworks.com/downloads) and here you can download MATLAB R2015a by selecting the version using the "Select Release" drop down
To check for licenses, you can ask the staff at your university and inquire about the license availability for student access to MATLAB.
You can also check licenses associated with your university account on https://www.mathworks.com/ by logging into your university account and following the steps given in this documentation: https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/matlab_env/manage-your-licenses.html
