AppDesigner future question: Menu Bar and Context Menus

Matlab Designers,

I created an app yesterday in AppDesigner and loved it, much more so than GUIDE. My understanding is that Menu Bar and Context Menus are not available currently within the AppDesigner IDE. Is that true? I do have a need for Menu Bars and Context Menus. And I have many GUIDE-built apps with Menu Bars/Context Menus that I would like to convert over to AppDesiger apps. Are these features planned for the future?

Hello,

Menu Bar is currently available in app designer.

Context menu is not available right now in app designer but will be added in the future release.

Hi MathWorks,

I have a very simple question:

How can you assign the same contextmenu to more than one GUI-component?

I know that it is possible in R2020a because I have already done that once in my GUI!

I have, however, completely forgotten HOW I did - and now it seems impossible to find the way to do it again!

App Designer was designed from the groud up to provide a better functional experience than GUIDE. It is nice to see users such as yoursefl benifitting from App Designer.

Menu Bar has been available in App Designer for a few releases. Context Menu and Toolbar were added as of 20a.

I am new and I have not found information of the use of figure tools and menu bar or contex menu would be of great help algun turial or commands to do it
