Hi there!
I would like to know if it is possible to use MATLAB to simulate penetration of a bullet through different materials and also do impact analysis in order to determine thickness of the material needed to prevent total penetration.
Regards,
Kelvin.

If you have a math model for ballistic penetration, then you can do it in Matlab.
Are you asking if Mathworks has a ballistics toolbox?

Yes. That was exactly what I was asking. I am not well versed in Matlab so I don't happen to know

Hi!, I am also looking for the same. Would you please share if there is any thing that you have found relevant to your query?

I guess there aren't any matlab product that may directly carry out our intended work. However, mathematical models (except that of Finite element model) may have some possibility. I could not locate any matlab file yet that have some relevancy.

I don't know af any specific ballistics tools.
You should browse the a list of Matlab products at this link: Matlab Products
