How to remove the redundant clusters or duplicate clusters. Please help me.

Use the function : unique().

I tried the unique and diff, but I am getting some errors in the use of a dendrogram for representation. So I think that was a mistake of the portion of the removal of redundant clusters. The error is
" Index in position 2 exceeds array bounds (must not exceed 1).
Error in dendrogram (line 121)
threshold = 0.7 * max(Z(:,3));
Error in dbdense (line 32)
dendrogram(new) "
How can I solve this?
