Symphony CCD control in LabVIEW and MATLAB

I am very new to programming in MATLAB, and I need a bit of help.

I have a Symphony CCD camera which I would like to run through MATLAB. The problem is that the company says that the only way to do this is by buying their C dll and using that. We've got the LabVIEW system for running this camera. I am wondering

1) Does anyone else run this CCD through MATLAB and if so, how? 2) Is there a way of integrating LabVIEW and MATLAB so that I can run the CCD through MATLAB?

Are there any other solutions?
