Edge Detection Boundary Not Working

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can tell why when selecting "own method" on the attached that the white border is applied to axis1 not axis 2? I think it's something to do with the for loop but can't figure out what.

Hi,
Can you be more specific about your question? Attaching your MATLAB file of your application, without proper description of your issue will not help. It will help if you can attach the fig file generated from GUIDE and the workflow you are trying to achieve.
