Adding simscape to already installed old version of matlab

hello guys

I need to add simscape electrical - power to already installed old version of matlab (r2019a) without having uninstalling and re-installing it. Add-ons only gives me the choise of having r2020 and I don't want to update my software. So how can I add it?

Hello Anna,

you can do this by running the 2019a installer again. It will default to assuming you want to add toolboxes to your existing install. If you do this online through your mathworks account, you can download the installer for older versions instead of 2020. Otherwise, if you do not install through the matlab website, and instead have an IT group that manages your software, you will need to get access to the 2019a installer through them.
