Error During network Training: Dot indexing is not supported for variables of this type.

I have imported a hybrid deep learning model (inception and resnet50) from keras.
The model was imported using importKerasLayers(model). After that the model is compiled without errors after importing in deep newtork designer.But when using the model for training i received the above error. "Dot indexing is not supported"
