How to add another file into matlab folder

I have a matlablab fle which is located in the current matlab folder . The file name is Neap20_qsstruc and when opened in work space it appeared as 'qsstruc' and contains 8 subfiles and I want to add one file into this sub files.

Any help in this regard is appreciated.

I assume from your description you did something like this:

fullFileName = fullfile(pwd, 'Neap20_qsstruc.mat');
storedStructure = load(fullFileName);

Now when you talk about subfiles, I don't know what you mean. The structure you loaded in, storedStructure, will have "members" that are members (also known as "fields") of the structure. These are variables that you stored in the mat file. So what does "subfile" mean to you, because to me it is non-standard terminology.
